We are working on a new concept here, an online prayer calendar.  We want to enlist people who would pray for Moldova each day of the year.  We need prayer! There are so many needs, so many challenges, and so many opportunities!  But this is a difficult field and a difficult work.

Prayer Requests: [posted June 16, 2009]

• Upcoming election in Moldova.  Since the April elections, it is a stalemate, with new elections slated for July.  Pray for honest and fair elections, safety for everyone in the country.
• Home of Hope: Pray for the new girl (and her baby) that just arrived last week.  Pray she feels comfortable and begins to commit to finding God’s healing.  Pray for needed finances each month.  Pray for wisdom on a potential director.  Pray for registration documents, that they may finally be approved.  (click here for Nancy’s detailed prayer requests)
• Day of Hope outreach: upcoming outreach on June 27 in Casunca.  Pray for the interns and team that will be serving there, for favor by the community, and for the church to be solidified.  Pray for the needed $30,000 to purchase a church building for that village.
• Pray for Mihaileni Noi, both for the ability to finally finish the inside of the church building and for the outreaches this fall.  A team of Convoy of Hope interns will be staying and serving there for 6 weeks in the fall.
• School teacher for our girls, 2009-2010.  We have a couple that has agreed to come!  Pray that they may raise their needed finances by the first of August!
  
• Financial–we have stepped out in faith and generosity beyond our ability, simply because the need was too pressing.  We really need some financial miracles to get the church in Bubieci up and the Teen Challenge center to the next phase.
