Mihaileni Noi–Crisis of Fire

Tough news–a fire at the church in Mihaileni Noi.  The church has been building their sanctuary for at least three years, only to have it all go up in flames last week.  Such disappointment! Everything was destroyed but the walls.  Winter is almost here, and we are scrambling to get a roof back on before winter.  Time and money are the limitations.

It is a big project, probably $10,000 to get it all closed back in before winter.  If you are willing to make a huge difference in this small village, the Church would be forever grateful.  Simply send to account below, Proj. 13110.  [Need:  $10,000 for construction, note Proj 13110 in memo]

Bubuieci–A New Home

The church is getting much closer to being finished.  The concrete ceiling has been poured, thus giving the first floor a roof.  When the windows get purchased, the church can actually start meeting there.  There will eventually be a second floor and sanctuary, but the basement will serve as sanctuary for now.  We have been blessed to have two teams here this fall, working on Bubuieci.

We still need $6000 to finish windows, doors, and some interior walls.  [Need:  $6000 for construction, note Proj 13110 in memo]

Sculeni:  New Church Plant

In Sculeni, the church is young, but doing a good work.  It was a strange experience to see the pastor visiting with an old alcoholic one day, then meeting that same alcoholic man as he came to our Teen Challenge center the next day, 100 miles away!  We are going to develop a series of outreaches this coming spring.   [Need:  $4000 for 3-year rent, COH outreach].
