Pastoral Training

We have a very important building project that we are working toward right now–Pastors.  We can build a building, but without a pastor that can help prepare God’s people, the building will stand empty.  Since we just finished our February Pastors Conference, this need is fresh on my mind.

Twice a year, we hold specific pastoral training times.  Many of them leaders come from the village, and even $100 is hard to manage.  We would love to share some of the load with them, helping those the sincerely need help to come to the conferences.  What would it cost to build a Pastor up each year?  About $100!

My only question?  How many pastors do you want to help us train?

Home of Hope:  Phase 2

I never thought I would say this, but we are going to need to start thinking about expansion.  That sentence strikes fear into my heart, but the Home of Hope Moldova is really starting to take off, and the need is going to be greater than our current capacity.  We are going to need to start planning on more space or an additional facility.

First things first–an additional room for counseling (Need: $10,000)
Second–upgrading fences, gates, and roofing at current home (Need: $4,500)
Third–another transition home or apartment (Need: $90,000)

Bubuieci–A New Home

The church is getting much closer to being finished.  The concrete ceiling has been poured, thus giving the first floor a roof.  When the windows get purchased, the church can actually start meeting there.  There will eventually be a second floor and sanctuary, but the basement will serve as sanctuary for now.  We have been blessed to have two teams here this fall, working on Bubuieci.

We still need $6000 to finish windows, doors, and some interior walls.  [Need:  $6000 for construction, note Proj 13110 in memo]
